I found a young Butcher Bird in our backyard not able to fly and a swollen left eye so I contacted them and gladly they took the poor little bird and are now nursing it back to good health !

If you are interested in caring for wildlife this place is a must. They do a remarkable job in treating the animals and birds that are brought in. The tour is time well spent. Highly recommended.

Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is an amazing place to visit for animal lovers. The centre is situated in the Perth Hills and is home to a wide range of native Australian animals. The rehabilitation centre has a wonderful team of staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. The centre has a variety of enclosures for the different animals, and visitors can have the opportunity to see and learn about kangaroos, wallabies, possums, birds, reptiles and many more. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the animals they care for, and are happy to answer any questions visitors may have. The centre also has an education program where visitors can learn about the importance of conservation and protecting our native wildlife. They offer guided tours, animal encounters and educational talks for both children and adults.

I called and left a message and still haven't heard back. I know they are probably busy but a reply would have been nice. The bird is dead so I guess it doesn't matter now.

Did a volunteer course and was given a tour as part of the course. Will be going back for my second session in coming weeks. Love this organisation and their commitment to wildlife and cant wait to start volunteering for them.

Really enjoyed being educated on what goes on at this wildlife rescue and meeting a python, bobtail and an echidna. Were also shown the hospital and kitchen areas. This would be a great place to bring children and grand-children. $15 which included tea and coffee and a biscuit is good value.
